Training
All online students take an orientation class that prepares them to use Blackboard, our web-based course delivery system. Blackboard is used around the world by online students and is very robust. Students learn how to access course materials such as tests and quizzes, grades and assignments.
Help desk
Online students can consult with help desk staff for any problems related to hardware and software. The help desk is staffed by computer support specialists almost 90 hours each week and can be accessed by chat, email, webmail or phone. The help desk also offers many online tutorials that help students be effective as they study online.
You’re not alone
Our online courses are designed so that students interact with each other and with instructors. Faculty members have virtual office hours and assignments include group work and responding to other students’ comments. Teachers are also available by phone and email to answer questions and provide feedback.
